Total donations raised £208,675

In September 2013, we embarked on our most ambitious fundraising event ever - The ASK Italian Grand Tour - an epic journey around the country visiting every single one of our restaurants, with the aim to raise as much money as possible for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

Comprised of ASK Italian team members, friends and celebrities, The Grand Tour kicked off with a 550 mile cycle leg starting in Aberdeen and going all the way to York in just 6 days. The baton was handed over to the second bunch of cyclists who embarked on a 600 mile leg from Peterborough to Truro in just 7 days. In between, we hosted fun cycles and walks and we visited a few restaurants in our fleet of Grand Tour branded Fiat 500’s. We stopped in Chichester for the day to hold a triathlon with over 150 participants taking part, and even hosted three very special food nights with Theo Randall celebrating all things Italian! The Grand Tour came to a close with a 16 mile walk around London, finishing at Great Ormond Street Hospital where we were greeted by McFly and very proudly handed over a giant cheque for £208,675 for the charity.
